About Us

Welcome to Innovative Learning

We nurture the science and mathematics genius in students.

As a parent, you want to give your child every possible tool to be successful in school and make good grades. Most importantly, you want to help them master the subjects and concepts they need to continue to advance and to pursue their dreams.

But, today, the courses our students take can be challenging, particularly in the STEM subjects–that is, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Dr. Angelicque Tucker Blackmon, founder of Innovative Learning Center, feels your pain–and can help. “We have a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed in high school and college STEM courses–and by extension, a career in a STEM field.” Dr. Blackmon, who earned degrees from Georgia Tech and Emory, has 25 years of experience working with colleges and universities to develop and fund their STEM programs. Those insights have shaped the tutoring program that Dr. Blackmon has developed at Innovative Learning Center. We understand what students will need to be successful in their STEM course work–at college, in high school, and even in middle school.
